Mildew on Chrome

Help. The chrome fittings in my loo keep on getting mildew marks. I've tried anti fugicide spray, bleach, pine, metal polish but it keeps reappearing, any tips?

Do you really mean MILDEW ?? (essentially a fungus infection, which bleach should certainly kill). Or are you talking about a discolouration?.

I'm pretty sure it is mildew, I get it nice & shiny but when I return a week later so has the mildew.
