Have just treated myself to a Mikuni blown-air heater off eBay. Was rather cheap so fingers crossed it works ok.
I have a copy of the operating manual, thanks very to David of this parish, but it's a bit lacking in details when it comes to installation.
One specific question I have is the best way to route the exhaust- I presume there is a maximum length that it can be, and a best practice for location and any loops etc that should be incorporated.
Secondly, might it be possible to fit some sort of remote startup system? Not a fancy SMS controlled thing, just a second 'on' switch that I could reach from my bunk in the forecabin. I could of course just put the controller beside my bunk but I believe it incorporates the thermostat, which I would prefer to have in the saloon.
Lastly, any advice on running the wiring to the batteries, and best way to run the ducting, would also be useful.
Thanks
