Microwave on board is it worthwhile?

The boat I have just brought has a microwave installed! I just wounded if it if it's worth while using it !!!.
Or should I just stick with the oven / grill ? I Would appreciate any advice normskb

we use ours every w/e.
we batch cook @ home & take frozen meals with us, this is very convenient & also gives the fridge a kick start too.

Before going to sea etc, it's worth removing the glass turntable and stowing it securely, otherwise it is liable to smash.

we have a saily boat, the turntable glass platter has yer to be broken in the past 10 yrs even in 40kts of wind, we do stow the electric kettle in the MW @ sea

If you've got the power to run it (depends on how you keep the batteries charged) - ignore this if you're on shore power - then us it (provided that SWMBO will use it).
It gives you a lot more scope - bring frozen food cooked from home; faster cooking anyway
