Micrologic Admiral GPS

I have just been given a Micrologic Admiral GPS which seems to register a date in 2001 but will not lock onto any satelites - any ideas anyone ???

Probably didn't clear the 2000 hurdle, it happened to some of the older sets.

Micrologic unfortunately went out of business so you may have trouble getting your "Admiral" fixed. I , together with at least 4 friends had and still do have Micrologic GPSs which I think are great. Mine still works well. Talk to Icom who purchased Micrologic, they may be able to help you.

Excellent GPS units. Sounds like you have an antenna connection problem.

Thanks to all who replied to my query - I have had the set re-programmed by Swale Marine Electronics in Queenborough Isle of Sheppy.
