Methylated Spirit Cookers

I went the opposite way to all the other posters - took out a spirit cooker and installed gas. Just couldn't stand the smell and the inevitable headaches.
My advice is to find someone who has one, spend 10 mins on their boat boiling a kettle and see if it affects you - if not then fine.
Those who have them can be a bit tooo zealous so you need to try for yourself /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

For what its worth meths cookers are not mentioned in the Boat Safety regulations. Ovens are available but seem to have a mixed reputation.
