I actually found berthing on the commercial quays OK and convenient for town.

We have too Norman in the pass but you have to beawhere of the wind , you can get a swell and if you get pin on the wall damaged is easy done as we know from two people we know .
If you are on the wall best to go stern on at less you can alway drop your lines and swing

Hope so for the marina. They have kept the office staff and marineros on the books for a long time without income.

Yes a very sad state of affairs although there have been a small amount of income from boats left moored there and the once that would creep in under cover of darkness .
You have to give Jo his dues he stuck it out and not let the thiefing fat Greek push him out ,
Good on you Jo .

Got a reply to an email I set a few days ago

'The new marina licenses have been published two week ago.
It will take some weeks more before all operational documents are signed with the Ministry.
We expect to re-open the marina well before the new season.
I will keep you update.

Best regards,
Jo Mennen
General Manager'

Looking good and I wish them all the best

Are the Gypsies still there. We had a huge problem with them on the quay 6 years ago - they (2 teenagers) boarded the vessel whilst we were in on the quay and tried to take our bikes. I chucked one of them into the water..... We were slightly worried that they might come back with reinforcements, but they all cleared off .
