My MF755 has three bilge pumps but none of them are automatic? I'm not keen on this as you'd expect and wanted to hear if anyone has the same issue and whether they changed them to an automatic system? Thanks for any help.

Are you sure they are not automatic? I've a Jeanneau as well, and while there is no Bilge pump alert panel, the bilge pumps are auto-float switched and permanently live, thus are automatic. The bilge pump switch I do have at the helm is a manual override switch (which is in addition to the auto float switch inside the individual pumps).

Appreciate the note, I'll check tomorrow but have had a fair amount of water in the stern bilge and had to switch on the bilge pump manually to clear.

I should have added that if course your setup may be different.

What does your Owners Manual say?

The manual is basic at the very least. It simply refers to them as electric bilge pumps! Nothing about automatic operation.

Having a quick look at your Owners Manual, it looks like you don't have automatic bilge pumps.

It's relatively easy to swap them for automatic ones. You can either fit an line float switch and then leave them switched on at the panel, or you can replace the pumps with one with inbuilt float switch and then run a permanent live to the new pumps (these type of pumps have a permanent live, a switched live and a negative feed - so it would be automatic or manually switched).

Excellent. Appreciate your help.
