Can anyone please tell me if a merry fisher 925 can take the ground? Thanks

No skeg to take the boat’s weight unlike the 7.60. The drawbacks to the Series 9 for me would be the ridiculously narrow bed in the fore cabin (around 4’ iirc) and the size of the engine. Only an extra 60hp over the 760 in a boat weighing 2t more or thereabouts.
I have now had my question answered, apparently the 925 is unable to take the ground without some serious modifications to the superstructure. I'll probably now look for a Beneteau series 9 or similar as I know they can.
No. The little metal skeg rips the bolts from the keel whilst the rudder stock shoots down a passing jet ??So does all the weight of the rear of the boat rest on this little metal skeg???
