Last year I purchased a package for West Coast UK and used it successfully on my laptop. Cheap for the vast area covered particularly the tides for a £tenner but you are simply using digitised versions of Imray paper charts, it proved useful particularly in displaying instantly the course and speed being made good in strong tidal channels both cruising and racing. ( We were traversing the Dorus Mor in very light wind , thought we were passing clear of an island but the vector displaying course and speed made good warned that tide speed was more than twice boat speed in time to retire and start the engine.)
The tide software is now out of date and I can not find an update for sale on either Imray or Meridian's website. I suspect that Imray are a bit out of their depth on line and are better with paper.
Anyone else use this system, if you have updated to 2009 tides I would like to know how to do it, on line if possible, thanks.

I've called Imray a couple of times to order the 2009 tides update for the south coast and been told that they are still awaiting stock. My biggest disappointment with the system is its inability to aggregate tides for a cross channel passage, unless I'm literally losing the plot it can only manage to work one one tidal diamond at a time.
