Mercury V12 600hp Verado Outboard Engine

Thought that was going to be a pointless horrible centre console - but actually a nice boat!

I don’t know if it was my imagination or did they seem quite loud? I suppose 2400hp is always going to make a fair bit of noise, but they didn’t seem as quiet as I expected.....

Didn’t mention the fuel burn mind lol.

At around 46 p per litre they can afford it....

They’ll have the exhausts switched to open there, on the plane. Can open and close them on the dash on merc engines above like 200 or 250 or something. Not to everyone’s taste, no doubt. Presume that’s the case here anyway.

Oh god yeh, I know - but the tanks must be huge!
I dont know about all Formula's but mine compared to the Euro markets ~ 200/250 mile range are significantly larger by comparison. However that may also be due to the base design of the boat being for petrol and not the diesels it has.

My read was 206 gph on the MFD or 195lph per engine for nearly 800 combined.

I remember a company called Panther
I had a powered racing cat with panther marine graphics . Wonder if it was the same? this little 15 footer managed 45 knts with a 2 stroke 90 on the back.. amazing smooth ride.. but also a very wet one as the spray used to come off the hulls at the bow and over the cockpit
