I want to buy a remote control conversion kit and throttle control for a Mercury 6hp 4 stroke. The Mercury remote control box I have has a pull throttle function but I am told this may not be correct and it may need a push throttle control box - anyone fitted one of these kits and knows whether the throttle lever is pull (forwards) or push (aft) to open?
