Some time ago my little 2.5hp ended up submerged by some freak winds.
I cleaned it up/flushed it and it's been worked fine since until now.
I'm not getting a spark (tested different plugs - though not the same part numer) so I imagine it's one of three things, or a combination of them. The coil exciter, CD unit, and/or Coil.
Any thoughts on the most likely failure and how to test it? Its not really economical to replace all three of them.
p.s. I've tested continuity on the kill switch and all is good there i.e there is continuity without the kill cord, and none when the kill cord is in place.
