Visited last week. Its a Spanish enclave in Morocco.

For cruisers, the main attraction are the berth fees. We were on a 45 foot yacht, 9.21 euros a night, including water and leccy. Shower cards 5 euro deposit, diesel 1 euro a litre.

Cheap eating ashore too.

I went last year on a 36 foot yacht, was 6 odd euros!

Worth a pit stop.

The Melilla part of the harbour is used by ferries and commercial vessels.

There is 10 m almost up to the marina entrance. The reception berth/ diesel dock has 3.3 to 3.5m. Visitors berths, med mooring bow or stern to, 2.8m.

Hope this helps!

Hello Sensible, good to get some info from the source, I'm across the pond at Aguadulce (Almeria) EUR 14 a day for 46 ft in winter by the way. I was considering going there in spring. Doesn't have fees on website sadly, did you see the fee schedule for summer by any chance?

Thanks

Any information on haul out costs in Mellila? and is there any problem in doing the work yourself or living on board while out of the water. We would need about 10 days during March or thereabouts. Our boat weighs about 10 tonnes
