Med boaters - will you get to your boat this year?

We've had 5 brown standard poodles in a row and they've all been very intelligent and very good with kids although they can be boisterous and they do need regular exercise. As for walking them, I used to think the same as you - no way am I going to be seen with that poncey thing! However I found very quickly that they are a bit of a babe magnet as in a lot of women go aaah and want to stroke your dog and not just grandmas:giggle: We've never given our poodles any kind of show cut. They get a straight lamb cut and no stupid pom poms

Giant poodle is first dog in Spain to test positive for UK variant

Sure you haven’t been telling porkies and you’re all already in country!

Thanks. Now the problem is changing our flights from Nice. BA dont seem to be flying to Turin or Genoa currently. Anyone know who is currently flying into those airports (and dont say Ryanair!)?
I had to get to Genoa to pick up my boat and seem to recall that it was almost not possible to fly there from the UK. I ended up flying to Florence, renting a car and driving. Fabulous trip and I am sure that you would get great brownie points taking SWMBO to Florence and lunch in Portofino on the way up!!!

Yup I've found that out this afternoon. Turin is very difficult too but Milan is possible.

Sadly I can't seem to earn brownie points doing anything these days!

Here are the rules from Monday for France. Apart from the PCR test going from 72 hours to 48 there really isn’t any change from those in force today. Still great to see lots of brow beating. Will I see my boat in France this summer. Yes 100%.

From May 31, anyone travelling to France from the UK will be subject to seven days of self-isolation and must present evidence of a negative PCR or antigen test taken within 48 hours of their departure. Only those with essential reasons will be allowed to enter France from the UK, which excludes holidaymakers.

Is it true or false then?

FWIW I've just received a message from my maintenance lady in France confirming that visiting a 2nd home in France is not going to be a valid reason for Brits to enter France under the new rules. By definition, I guess that includes visiting your boat

Looks like Bouba will not have to suffer the invasion of the Great British unwashed after all

Not an early invasion but I’m hopeful of a mid to late season invasion

A friend of mine crossed the channel last week and anchored outside cherbourg.
The marina said it was ok to come in. No drama, no checking of any paperwork.
After 5 days he sailed west and now at roscoff. Still no problems.
I wonder if he is OK with the new French ruling as he was already there ?
