And then my engine. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

Rounded Start point thinking the faitfull. It wont bounce to much!! Orible holes with monsterous walls round them. Only in smallish areas though. Blasted into Dartmouth with biggish following sea. Found Long John and shunted up to the side of him. Then just as LJ got hold of the rail. The drive went!! So, very luckily we had gone for the fire works and fun of the Dartmouth water works party, or whatever they call it these days. Only took Dart Marine about four days to mend it. Well. Three days with the duff mechanic, then one day with the good one!! Quite interestingly discoverered that one gear box is running on ATF and the other on engine oil. Not only that but one dip stick is two inches longer than the other. Same gear boxes?? Took my mate from Yorkshire, so the three of us had a brilliant time apart from LJ eating all our food on accout of him not bringing any Lobsters or crabs../forums/images/icons/frown.gif
LJ gave me a new cork screw, which I thought was very nice of him. Till I noticed he had straightened it out!!

You don't drink wine so no use giving you my best corkscrew, the bottle opener is the only useful bit for you, specially as yours was broken!

And you forgot to mention that you drank all my beer which is a much more serious crime.

So I now have.

One tin opener, with broken bottle opener.
One cork screw, vintage 1911
One bottle opener with broken cork screw.

But I only drank your beer cos you had first emptied my fridge of beer and flattened my batteries in the process!!

I probly dont need to say this but, beware of fluid levels in gearboxes, the boat caught me out cos when the engines are stopped the gearbox coolers drain back and give a falsely high reading on the dipstick, answer is that I have rotated the coolers so that the oil hoses are on top hence no drain back. Problem is made worse on mine as ex race boats have a bigger cooler so drain back is greater. Did not discover this till had burnt out a clutch......
