Anyone visiting Fairweather's wheelhouse please be careful of the new varnish! How many coats was it?

She looks almost finished; when are you launching? Sorry we can't make that weekend. Already booked for a club race.

The Sportsboat and Rib show is on that weekend in Ocean Village Marina.

A group of us were going to go over to the Folly one evening after the show.
Looks like we should give it a miss then!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I would have thought that a pillar of the boating community, such as yourself, complete with an Expense Account ready for the massaging, would be most welcome.

Mines a Firkin of Stella, just charge it to the Icom account.

Hey Martin

If you had not brought a Vertex the chances of you getting a beer from me would been a whole lot higher!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And was that pillar or pillock? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I would have bought yours if you had dropped the price to a reasonable level. The fact that yours came down in price, to almost exactly the amount that I told you you should be selling it for, after Vertex had accepted my cash, only goes to prove my point.

You should be buying me a beer, because of the free marketing advice, that I have endowed upon you.

As to pillar or pillock. Which do you find easier to spell after a few pints?

You might be that unlucky. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We normally try to get to the Folly over a weekend like this.

We have a couple of boats we can use so there is a good chance we will be there.

What do you mean unlucky?

We are mooring onto the pontoons in Mid River so you can turn up in time to be the Water Taxi.

I knew you could be useful.

You obviously need a lesson in lateral thinking.

You can always make more than one trip & with the list of boats that are going I would think you will need to.

Of course you may be in trouble for the trip back. Whats the penalty for Drunk in Charge of a Flubber these days.
