Hello..
I had issues bleeding the fuel system on an md2020 after being laid up. I can get it to run briefly before stopping. I have had this problem previously and know the procedure for bleeding. Also added a priming bulb to assist. My attention is now on the injector pump. It’s receiving air free fuel but it not coming out sufficiently! I disconnected the pipes from the pump to injectors and there is fuel at one port only when primed and engine turned over manually to engage contact. Pump is now removed and the plungers are all free. The stop lever may have been sticky but now seems to have some spring when worked. I wonder if anyone has stripped down the pump, I can’t find any guides? Perhaps it can be cleaned in a bath of solvent?I expect there may be seals in there?!
