I got my latest MBM 2day, and the section on local news appears to be missing?
is this just mine (or just me)

Any ideas Hugo :)

Postal strike

Last month's issue got caught up in the postal strike. This month's one officially due out today but we've had further postal strike problems.

Not entirely related but we are also only getting one postal collectio a day at the moment thanks to the visit of a certain person...

cos it was all said before, i really like the local news feature(s) and they are not
in this issue and i would like to know why, thats all.

I should perhaps have pointed this out in the magazine but instead of running Regional news as a seperate section at the back of the magazine, we have amalgamated the most important regional stories into larger Waterfront and Riverbank news sections at the front of the magazine.

The idea is that this will give more space and prominence to the regional stories that deserve it without having to fill a page worth of news stories on every area of the country regardless of whether anything newsworthy happened there that month.

See how you like it for a couple of months and let me know what you think

Fair play to you, it is a much better mag than last month.

One teeny weeny request, its great to see the MBM Cruising Club event in the mag, but would it be possible to have a bit more detail next time?

It always seems very minimal in relation to other articles which is a shame.

(We were in Zeeland at the same time and it would have been good to read a bit about your trip, where you thought was good and where not for the next visit)

regards

Mike

Mike,

All of the locations visited are ones we like from previous trips and all come recommended for that reason. The only one that is a bit of an acquired taste is Tholen, the one we chose to skip, although some boats did call in there for lunch.
