It must be seven maybe eight years ago or so that we booked in with the MBM cruising club to go up the Seine to Paris. I remember that quite a few people on that cruise had a very good comprehensive guide to the Seine. I recall it was narrow in width, pretty sure it was a paperback and I recall that it had large picture detail of many sections of the river. I don't mean the Derek Bowskill book.

I just cannot remember the name and publishers! Anybody out there recognise the book I mean? If you read this Kim, I am sure you will recall it and maybe still recommend it to people doing this trip.

Many Thanks Barry

Its the guide de navigation fluviale Les Voies Navigables La Seine aval du Havre a Paris - otherwise known as the Navicarte. You can get it at any good chandlers. We went on the 2004 MBM expidition to Paris

The one I used, and found more comprehensive is 'Paris by Boat' A Boatowners Guide to the Seine and Paris Canals by David Jefferson ISBN 0-7136-4629-2.
Loads of practical detail and dozens of detailed chartlets.

Navicarte 1 is the one used by us when we go up the Seine. I don't know the David Jefferson book, but check when it was last revised as things will have changed over the years.
