Great magazine this month, some really good boat reviews and articles.
That Galeon 460 though! I'm sure it'll be a bit marmite but I love it.
Seems perfect for what most Med boats are actually used for. Quick blast to a bay then a floating beach hut.
If there's room in the shaftdrive version for a Seakeeper then I think it'd be perfection. Not that I have £850K to spend on a 46 footer (or any boat!)
What do you think?

The Galeon 640 looks pretty special too. Have the Brit boat builders been caught napping?

The 640 was very impressive when I was on her in Düsseldorf

The walk through screen works so well with the now mandatory bow saloon I am sure other builders are already planning to copy it.

The only thing I don't like are the interior style - all a bit Ukrainian gentleman's club for my taste but I'm sure there must be some more restrained options.

We had an extending cockpit on a sealine T50. When extended it made the cockpit quite a lot bigger. It was/is very easy to deploy too, no extra rails to deploy etc. I thought it was a very good idea that no-one else copied (except smaller sealines)

I think we used it once.
The fold down side decks on the Galeon look cool but I suspect might not get a lot of use on a boat that big. I have also come around to thinking that on boats, less (i.e. less to go wrong) is more.
