Mayland boats

Really you should be using Google to find these details
Mayland Boats Ltd.
Unit 7, Woodrolfe Road, Tollesbury, Near Maldon, Essex. CM9 8SE
Phone 01621 869944, 869945

Don't let it happen again /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Bit unfair. I'm something of a search engine geek, and I can't find anything much of use at first glance. There are reports that in 2002 a guy called Terry Croarkin tried to get the Mayland range in production again. I can give you several sites quoting this, but they are all very old, and non relevant to today. If you are going to use google, then at least use it intelligently, and understand it's limitations, before you lambast others for their inadequacies

Anyway, Terry was ex Proust and took over the factory. His contact information is given here, but is def out of date, as none of numbers work (I've checked!)

but might be a starting point. Far more likely is that someone here actually knows status than relying on google or other search engine.

Consider your wrist spanked! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi,

Did you have any success in finding Terry Croarkin and / or Mayland Boats Ltd. A friend of mine from Austria is trying to track them down as well to perhaps purchase a Mayland boat.

Best regards,
CBF

OK

I've been trying to find a supplier of an insect-bite treatment called Caladryl using search engines. I even found a letter to some parents of Liverpool school kids who were doing a field study in Bowness on last Friday. It asked permission to apply various treaments and elastoplasts if needed, and mentioned Caladryl by name.
Spookily we were accosted by these very kids doing a survey of visitors and locals feelings on the local facilities.
What is even more spooky is that SWMBO was bitten by insects on that walk.

It turns out that Caladryl was replaced with Benadryl ointment some time ago.

The only reference to this I could find was on a psoriasis forum. (although it's still available on the the net from Portugal)

So Brendan is right. Internet searching only brings up what you ask, and doesn't sift out the rubbish.

Obviously did some serious thinking and decided agin it. If he was ex 'Prout' probably got disheartened when he couldn't figure a way of joining two of their hulls together. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
