MaxProp

I have a rather old 14" MaxProp with much play in it.
Between the fin axels and the central hub and between the hub and the 'whatsitcalled' that goes on the prop shaft.
The result is noisy operation at low revs, say below 1200rpm.

Has anybody ever done a restoration job on it to get rid of the play and if so, how?

dunk it. thats exactly why you should have bought an Autoprop in the first place; better performance and they have replaceble bearings......
Refurbishment will cause it to stick in unwanted positions.
