Maxi 120 or Maxi 130 sailing performance

Does anybody out there own a Maxi 120 or Maxi 130?

Trying to find out how well they sail in light airs, also how well they manoeuvre under power.... given the fact that the prop is a long way forward of the rudder. We currently own a Maxi 95 and love the boat and sailing performance but are looking for something just as good but larger.

Sorry to have just found this post so this is a belated reply. We own and live on a Maxi 120, but suspect you mean the more modern Maxi 1200.

The 120 is the only one built only for cruising - and certainly Roaring Girl, filled with liveaboard stuff is slow to accelerate but has speed once she's done os. In light airs she's good though we find out cruising chute really makes a difference. Downwind with just genoa and mizzen she's a pleasure to sai, though she can roll a bit in swell which makes keeping the sails filled a pain. Her fastest point of saIL is a close reach.
