Experiences please.
I want a matt/satin pale cream finish paint for the interior of my wooden sloop. Weathershield exterior satin comes in 750ml tin at £11.90 per tin. Blakes only do gloss and at £16 per 750ml.
Weathershield exterior masonry paint comes in 2.5L tins at £20 per tin. It is available in pale cream and by definition has a matt finish. I have painted a piece of pine, sans undercoat, and it did not flake off or bubble up after several months in the rain, wind, sun etc. However, this might have been sheer luck.
After all that the basic question is "has anyone used masonry paint on their boat, and what was the outcome?"
Look forward to hundreds of replies.
Thanks
