Leaving the boat for short periods I switch off the shore-power which disconnects the Mastervolt battery charger to all the 'sealed' batteries.
Later this year I intend leaving the boat for up-to three or four months at a time.
Having once had an unexpected leak I would like to leave the battery charger connected so that there is always power to the bilge pumps should they switch on.
Will that create problems? - will the Mastervolt charger just keep up a trickle charge when required and switch off when it not required?
- I do not want to 'cook' the battery banks.
Thanks
