Mast cleaning

Evening all,


Been hard at it in the hull over the w.end, soon I must make a start on the mast/boom, both need a thorough clean. What does the team suggest is the best way to get all the grime and rope marks off them - apart from elbow grease?

Frankly, I tried almost every possible product on my old mast/boom, and nothing shifted the grime.
