There was another gathering at the Royal Angelsey as well. Once they’ve decided to head north, it’s nice for the UK nations to make them feel welcome.

Are you sure about that? A group of members from the RAYC and one Fife one-design took part in the RYS regatta but I've seen no mention of Fifes in the Straits other than the regular weekly racing.
