does anyone know where i can get the above please. carb needs a service

Try Ron Hale in Portsmouth, just google the name and "outboards". Apart from a gasket what else do you need, these carbs don't really have service parts. If it leaks, it probably just needs a clean.

You dont say if its a 2 stroke or 4 stroke.. The 2 stroke carb is pretty basic. The 4 stroke carb is different but still pretty basic

Carb kits exist if you really want one but expect to pay several 10s of £s

thats basically it in all honesty. its a four stroke by the way. i had forgot to say that. i am paying the price for neglecting the engine. carb was bunged up with all sorts!

If you take it apart and clean everything it should he fine. Mine leaks if I let it get gummed up ,as the needle sticks open.

I am pretty sure it is a rebadged Tohatsu so that might be a source of parts if required.

But if you are careful the gasket should be OK. Almost certainly a stuck needle valve as others have said.

Hi to be honest a carb rebuild kit isnt going to make any difference to a dirty carb. The majority of the time the problem lies within the carb body. You haven't said exactly what the running problem is but isually if the problem is acceleration its the main jet. If the problem is tickover its your pilot jet

poor starting and tickover. i will get the jets out and run them through the airline and then give it a good clean
