Can anyone point me to any data on the industry, particularly number of boats sold by size/type. Interested in UK and European.

Overall UK data for 2007 HERE. From this you might interpret that we're good at making small sailing dinghies and medium sized powerboats!
I think they might have got THIS forecast a bit wrong though

IBI report some data too. I got a load for a due dil project done for purchase of Fairline a few years ago but I can't remeber the sources. Will see what I can find. Also will PM

Get yourself a British Library Readers Card ( free ) pitch up , sign in to the IP and business centre. It is a goldmine of information. If there are any online reports you can get 1 per day, some of which are worth £thousands!
