Marina Shower/Toilet blocks - points out of 10

MDL expensive? for me to be on the dry stack there (cobbs quay) costs a mere £250 more than a ****ty bank side berth at rossiters in christchurch where i can only get in or out 2 hours either side of high tide, no facilities to speak of and a load of hassle for even asking about even asking about the tidal access!!!!

having researched places in the area to be berthed/stored MDL are pretty on the money

Yes. And add in the benefits of no cost berth's at so many other places along the coast, and I for one would be most unlikely to use a 'single ownership marina'.

Yep, +1 on that.

Haslar very good- private floating shower/toilet/sink(?!) rooms
Grimsby HCA good too, Jif provided so all can leave it good too..
Scarborough- in a light house nice but a fee, Whitby, same authority, new, as good as East Cowes and free...
Brid.. Basic but OK if you can get the key
Hartlepool (here's the rant) Tired old and cold. When asked why no hot water, staff say 'People keep using it'... Cleaner said only one immersion tank of three working.
This was great fun before the Tall Ships week.. imagine what it was like during!
Marina prices and one star (UK) campsite service...

Here's a summary (have tried to average multiple scores):

When I am wrong I am happy to admit it.
I am actually going to agree with Nick on this, I revisited Berthon and have to agree there is now (perhaps was there before too) a plastic coating on the glass like sticky back plastic, the lighting gives the impression by shadows that you can be seen but its not the case.

I agree it is incredibly difficult to see through.

Still slight issues with automatic lights turning off and leaving you in darkness and still feel it odd that the designer has put a sign up asking you not the get the shower floor wet but have to accept they are very nice bogs.

...but as I mentioned before the waterless urinals still stink!
