Hi all
we are still looking for a new home for our little boat and really are spoilt for choice, has anyone any info on Marina Salinas Torrevieja that we would find useful
Thanks

Last time I went there Nov 09 it was almost empty. I always stop there for fuel when on deliveries as they fuel station have good opening hours (staff a bit thick though).

The manager who I met several times during last summer was offering good deals on berth rental I seem to recall.

It is a big harbour and feels somewhat exposed in my opinion. But on the up side you are close to Alicante airport, not too far from Javier airport either which will give you a choice.

Alternatives.. I like Cartagena it has a nice feel to it although in parts it is a little industrial. Cabo Roig is tiny but quite quaint or go up to Alicante.

I am off to Thomas Maestre Mar Menor next week (weather permitting) will let you know what that is like.

We also looked into the Marina Salinas Torrevieja, they were advertising a “ deal “

And it looked like a cheaper option……

But………………………………………………………………………………….

When you add up everything, water, IVA and electric ect…………….

Its about Euro, 500 cheaper for a 15mrt berth over 12 months.

The bars are great in the summer and the place dose have a good atmosphere.

We are in San Pedro, and its fine and handy for the Mar Menor.

Not sure if this is any help.
