Marina Recommendations in Balearics

Im considering the Swan Cup in Porto Cervo next September but the marina is expensive so looking for somewhere to wait from early August within a day or two of the start - does anyone have recommendations in Majorca or other Balearic Islands or maybe north west Italy with good air services ?

Bonifacio, Corsica, or Alghero, Sardinia.

Not where you want but Valencia is very reasonable. I'm in the south side of the Northern (Americas cup) marina (la marina Valencia)and it's normally a sporty reach out to the Balearics.

Bonaire is very reasonable in winter and might be worth trying in summer. But if you only want to wait for a couple of days the anchorage outside Portals Nous is excellent. My son left his boat there on anchor for almost a season.

Compared to Porto Cervo, most other ports are reasonable, but possibly Mallorca & Ibiza second. Locationwise Mahon on Menorca may be an option?

If you fancy staying anchored in the bay at Bonifacio just across from Cervo you might want to take a dive tank as anchors tend to become well twisted in there,however the town is well worth a visit if budget permits.
