I visited Kairos Marina on a recent trip and it struck me it would be an ideal base for owners looking for secure winter storage and a great staging point for excellent summer cruising. Ideally located in Gokova Bay it is only 8Km by land from Datça and an hour by ferry from Bodrum. In the summer there are 4 roundtrip ferries every day. Both Bodrum and Dalaman airports are reasonably convenient.
I don't think they have a working website but anyone interested can contact them via WhatsApp +90 532 064 26 48.
I believe the prices are reasonable and there are good facilities in the marina and even more planned.

There only used to be the jetty used by the ferry at Kormen, but the Gulf of Gokova has suffered as a cruising area because the restaurants at Coekertme had their jetties destroyed and the ones in the bay at Okluk Koyu opposite English Harbour have also gone, unless anything has changed in the last year or two.

We stopped in at Kairos Marina last September to sit out a nasty little storm. Boy, is it a solid and well made marina. The outer wall is a massive concrete construction, just as well as this is a lee shore when the meltemi blows. Staff were helpful, plenty of space, reasonable shower block. We tried the small restaurant immediately outside the marina gates, nothing special, but OK. The travel hoist looked a bit second hand and may have been out of action. Plenty of concreted hardstanding, so should be secure for winter lay up, but might be short on technical support.
Useful location, the only really secure spot for miles on the South side of Gokova Korfezi, and as Irish said only a short bus or taxi ride into Datca town. I wish them luck, someone has done the basics well and it must be quite an investment.

The travel lift was working flat out the couple of days we were there in late June. From vans I saw there were painting and mechanical contractors from Datça working in the yard. We found the restaurant OK and there's also a nice wine bar in the same area and a market. For bigger shopping or a night out the roundtrip to Datça by taxi is less than €15. The local dolmuş service operates during the day and costs around 50 cents.
