Marina Price comparison - International

Price is not always determined by supply/demand, here (south Brittany) many marinas are publicly owned and prices must be set in agreement with local authorities. FWIW yearly contract rate for 12m monohull varies roughly 2500 - 5000 euro, electricity included, depending on the marina position.
Friends came back from a few years sailing abroad (erm, to Gambier islands) and -being resident in Belle Ile- they asked the harbour master about a yearly contract, the waiting list for non residents must be >10years: 14m monohull for a resident? sure place available right now, 400ish euro a year :D

I was advised by the marina that prices are increasing by another 17.5% from today. By the way this is what the area immediately next to my boat looks like. The marina has been a construction site for 3 years now and will go on for another year at least

In those situations, one can usually accept the work has to be done, but the dust can be a real pain
Except the work is not for the benefit of boat owners. Many of the marina facilities including the swimming pool, tennis court, a shower/toilet block, on site restaurant and a large supermarket at the entrance have been closed to facilitate the construction of a large commercial centre which will be owned by the marina company but only accessible from the street outside. Most of the car parking has disappeared as well.

You are rapidly changing my (distant) understanding that Turkey was cheap .... :)

I too have a distant memory of a time when Türkiye was cheap. But not anymore. Our marina is owned by Setur which has another 10 marinas in Türkiye and 1 in Mytilini (Lesvos). I was talking to an Italian couple in the marina a few days ago. They're moving to Mytilini where the mooring fee is one third of the price in Kuşadası.

What counts is the length on the registration certificate.
Some years ago we travelled down the west coast of France with friends who had a 33' Westerly(?) and he got annoyed whenever we went into a marina. They'd generally allocate us adjoining berths but Rob would be charged 20-33% more - the night it was +50%, I had to buy all the beer to calm him down - as our boat was <10m, whereas at a registered 10.06m, his scraped into the 10-12m category.

Take a seat !
Here in Vilamoura Portugal they have 100% surcharge on cats, so your boat would cost 23901.36€ pa
(inc VAT water and electric)

For our 10×3m boat, we were paying around 1400€/year in Berlin, water and electricity (and parking if we had a car) included. Some extras available like 50€ for a storage locker in the club house.

In the Baltic during high season we typically pay around 20-25€/night with electricity, sauna, etc included. No idea how the long-term fees would look like there. And obviously since northern Baltic freezes, winter would have to be on the hard.

UK and especially Ireland have been the most expensive we've seen so far, followed by Portugal. Spain both on mainland and especially in the Canaries has been really cheap. In municipal marinas in Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura we were paying 5-6€/night with electricity, water, and showers (not warm in every place) included. I assume long-term stay fees would've been a bit lower still. There are however also "luxury marinas" where the prices look totally different. But then the harbour master will speak English 😆

Eek, most of the prices on here are eye watering (or bank account emptying). We are in a small local authority run marina on the Roussillon coast and pay about 3100€ pa for a 12m yacht. Electricity and water are included but it's out in the sticks and there are no port facilities beyond bogs, bins and laundry.
