Marina -nearly a gonner

We keep our boat at Ardlui - Loch Lomond. The water level at risen so high that the pontoons were only 3" from tops of posts - probably some 20 ft above summer level. Luckily, water down by 2 ft now and dropping further. Imagine the chaos if all 4 pontoons had come off the poles? Some 100 plus boats all tied together.

We had same problem last weekend on Winderemere. 1'6" of pontoon posts showing, normally 7'. Did'nt see it personally but apparently there was some damage to canopys etc. Ours was ok and was kindly checked over on a few occasions by boating friends.
How was it at Largs ?

Thanks Ian --- still berthed at L Lomond but Largs did get a real blow during the storms there. All the best.
