Given recent posts on the subject and having just returned from a four harbour tour of the Solent, why don't we set up a register to list boat names to be wary of if they get near you. You could sit on the bow of your boat on a busy Saturday afternoon with the list to hand, and if listed boat comes near, you rush to fend off.

I can offer a few, both sail and power to kick it off. Any takers?

Not sure of the legal implications.

That means you cant go to the pub then? or you leave a poor crew member to watch...
Maybe you could offer a boat sitting service including extra fenders?

Now there is a thought!

Problem with my two recent dings from others is that due to the 'offender' in both cases using excessive power - fending off becomes quite a danger.

Better to stay clear and keep arms/legs out of the way......
