All prices are Euro.
Forgive my ignorance but are med prices more expensive in winter than summer?
I'm just surprised that Turkish prices are 20-80% higher than London-by-sea or indeed the Solent.
Some of miyagimoon's quotes might include leccy/water, some not: practice varies.
Snap. We are in a yard to the north of Athens, at Oropou, with a charge of just under €1000 for 7 months including lift-in, out, pressure wash, water and electricity (but only when aboard). This is for an 11.5m yacht. Last year we paid €2,900 in Gouvia for six months, caught out by a hefty surcharge if you leave the yacht ashore for more than 3 months. My yard cost (note not a marina) is €1000 for 7 months including lift and pressure wash on a 10m yacht. Only storage on hard!!
When I was @ Messolonghi the annual berthing cost (6 months in and 6 out) was €1726, including lifts and washing.

Living aboard when ashore is permitted in our present yard, but was not in Gouvia. That will be really convenient come fitting-out time (not too long now).
Thanks Miyagimoon for all those figures, it could be really helpful for next year.
Actually it is illegal to live aboard a boat on the hard anywhere in Greece, many yards/marinas turn a blind eye for short periods because otherwise they'd lose business. I know this because I had a long chat about it with the new president of the marina here.
I didn't know that! Greeks are great at ignoring inconvenient bureaucracy. But maybe (do you know?) it depends on how "living aboard" is defined. As far as most of us are concerned it is just a matter of staying on board overnight for a few nights for the purpose of getting work done. I can well understand the objection to long-term liveaboarding ashore.Actually it is illegal to live aboard a boat on the hard anywhere in Greece, many yards/marinas turn a blind eye for short periods because otherwise they'd lose business.
