Marina bollards curtesy lights...

Hi. I know you said you're not looking for an all in one solution but....

I live on a river and had a Rolec Quantum pedestal installed around five years ago - just looking through my old emails I see it cost £407. For that I got 2 x 16a sockets, a water hose connector and hose hook, a light, and RCBO fuse things - and something which has worked faultlessly since. It does flood occasionally where I live, and the water level has risen probably 30cm up the pedestal - fortunately though all the connections for the unit are towards the top of it which meant that it's never blown!

They might not be the prettiest solution, but my thought was that if they're good enough for marinas etc..........

(photo below is obviously a photo from their website not from my installation!)

Cheers.

Unfortunately this is not an option for us - the bollards are already there with power, hence why all we're looking for is lights.

We are in a flooding area, thankfully hasn't flooded in years, however to be safe, the bollards are 4ft high.

I think the problem you will have is the pir won’t work until you are in the vicinity of the light , so how far apart are the poles.

It would be cheaper and better to use one photo cell ,
Nope. We have power going to each bollard, no daisy chain. Already laid in concrete.

We had no need for power at the time, but thought it would be an idea to lay cable before we lay concrete. The lights were an after thought. They are not necessary, just be a nice touch.
