Marina bin finds

I have a memory of a chap who used to raid skips to keep an old boat going …. he salvaged a rope which snapped during a critical berthing manoeuvre. Would have been much cheaper to buy a decent rope.

My late wife loved a skip (she was at the lower end of the antiques trade). I remember her father giving her advice: “Dig deep!”

I have been clearing out the workshop and leaving stuff beside the bin which is too good to dump. The old boys are never seen taking it, but it all disappears.

Watch out for surprises though.

A business next to the marina opened up his bin and there was a bloke sleeping in it.

Strongly suspected in the case of Corrie McKeague as well. His body hasn't been found, despite searches of a local tip, but police are fairly certain he's in there.
