Marina 5% Private Sale Commission

Sounds like they are trying to drum up trade for their brokerage, what percentage do they charge? - make it just as costly to sell privately as through the brokerage and people may as well use the broker, certainly falls into the "restrictive practices" category,

my marina operates the same princilpes but to beat this we sell our boats at the local quay wall,advertised to view at same wall and give mobile number contact details etc,so far ive sold two boats valued at over 200k each at this wall and no commision paid to marina and they have been quite grateful especially if the new owner availed of a berth,lift etc
