Marie D\'Uanna

It's been suggested that marijuana may be a miracle cure for seasickness in small doses.

I recently witnessed an experiment where a sufferer was administered marijuana with great interest. It appeared to have no effect whatsoever apart from making the casualty cough.

This was disappointing given what I'd read on this forum.

Later it transpired that he'd been sick before sailing and only came along so as not to let the side down.

Anyone seen any positive results?

It's often used to counteract the nauseous effects of chemotherapy, so it's feasible that it could work on mal de mer, I suppose. Ironically, it also makes some people sick itself.

In my experience it makes people giggle manically, cease to care about anything and then get the munchies; ergo p'raps at sea you would get sick, not care about it and then feel hungry :)
