Hi

I bought a fin keel Sabre in December last year.

A real safe sea boat, sails pretty well considering the age and the weight as she is built like the proverbial brick outhouse :D

As a live aboard for one or possibly two, I guess one would be roomy enough, with heating and a cockpit tent. Cosy.

As long as you are tidy. I haven't counted, but I am told that there are 42 lockers on my boat, quite a few are very roomy.

Lots of pictures and details from the very active owners association. http://www.sabre27.org.uk/

Regards

Ian

Hi

I am 5ft 11" and the main cabin has full standing head room, the forecabin I need to bend a bit. One of the deciding factors in buying the Sabre was the large amount of space and storage.

The only problem I have had with all the lockers is remembering where stuff is stowed :D

Regards

Ian

Perfect live aboard. We live on one. I second the comment about the storage... I can never find what im looking for. So many places to hide stuff. We are fitting a diesel heater. My one let down is it cannot fit trojan batteries into my battery stow.

We have been aboard for a year now and never been happier. Spent 1/2 the year in brighton and half the year in fecamp. Been amazing.

All our l/a friends love our boat as it has a great

galley portside. Full ocen/grill/2 hobs. Ample space
for a fridge.

And there cheap too... The hull is 2cm thick. Engine access front and rear.

Tres bon
