Noticed one of these while buying ferrites which (I hope) will solve an interference problem twixt plotter and VHF. The boat's charging system is a bit rudimentary but at £7.99 it seems worth a pop compared to the cost of one from the swindlery.

Anyone used one/any comments?

Mike.

Re plotter rfi.

Don't know yet. The ferrite beads were delivered this morning. Advice from Navman was to fit ferrites to the noisy end of all leads in and out of plotter and radio. Hence one on plotter powe/data at the plotter end, one at the radio end and one on the radio power lead. That gives me some spares if one makes some difference. Tinfoil round the plotter has also been suggested.

Life all rfi problems an expert can probablyu fix it in minutes and a bodger like me will take hours if it works at all.
