The Internet is definately up there!

I am just having a chat on line with webcams with my friend in Beijing

The amazing thing is that as we discuss a subject we can search the oracle that is the internet and share our finds by clickable hyperlinks, share files etc. For instance if something is happening here, I can nip out, catch it with my digital cam, and let someone on the far side of the world see.

A real earth shrinking and culture bridging invention

Surely mankind's greatest invention is language? Without this the ability to share, develop and inherit thoughts would be very limited. I would therefor respectfully submit that the invention of language is a prerequisite of virtually every other of man's inventions or discoveries.
