Dear forum members,
I have a problem. See attached images below.
My boat is a princess v55 with MAN 800hp year 2000. Now, when I want to start the engines after the winter they wont start. The start engine will not go around. I get the warning symbol, yellow light, (see attached image) and I get a warning signal. I can't find anything in the manuals about the symbols on the dashboard. It looks to me as warning about a water level being wrong. I also want to mention that the warning is the same for both engines individually. The boat has been in the water during the winter with heaters in the engine room so there shouldn't have been any freezing.
- I'm thinking the fresh water level for some reason is to low. I have checked that and it looks full in both engines.
- For the winter I closed the raw water inlets and opened the water strainers and poured in antifreeze. Could it have anything to do with this? I have now of course opened the raw water inlets.
- I checked the oil level and it looks a little high. Could it be that during sitting for a while during the winter all oil has come down and now the engine sensor is saying it is to much oil and sends out a blocking signal?
- What else could there be?
- What does the warning symbol indicate? It turns yellow for 10 secs when I turn on the ignition, and then the alarm signal also starts and stays on (not to be confused with the rather strong normal signal that goes on when you turn the ignition)

Ideas and input much appreciated. Feeling a bit frustrated and pray it is not a major thing...:nightmare:
