Mallorca Moorings

Thanks Paw - what sort of cost are cheapest moorings, say Barcelona. I have no idea about this just wondering about feasibility for me buying a cheap boat out in the sun, rather than buying a bigger boat here in the grey!

Port Ginesta has places free and as you will see from above is much less expensive than the Balearics where most places have a waiting list anyway.

15/20 minutes from Barcelona airport.d Lots of flights....

Almirimar is the very cheapest in the Western Med but is an hour or so 60+ euro to the airport.

Thanks for the link - intersting that cranage is half uk rates and that storage is by the square metre. As a small cat owner I get annoyed at the arbitrary +50%, at least the storage square meterage charge has some basis of logic.
 
We are Based in Alcudia and Pollenca Do use winter moorings to save a few euro & mainland usually less but what do you call cheap for loa ?
Or can swing for free.
 
I keep my boat in Port Balis just outside Barcelona which is owned by a Spanish Yacht Club / sports club. really nice people but a 3/4 hour train ride from the Airport. We live in Spain so we drive there. Being club members gets us a discount and the mooring fees are around 800€ a year less than Gibraltar - I think it is a great place as a cruising base near Balearic's, France, Corsica and Italy. Lots of facilities, cafes bars gym and boaty things
