Making a Splash

well, just goes to show:

Been for second xray today - shoulder broken! 10p sized piece of bone broken off top of humerus - tuberosity thingy.

Bad news, but not as bad as a torn ligament, or damaged rotator cuff. Hopefully a broken bone will mend itself in a few weeks.

Would explain my drama queen like antics.

You have my sympathies, I hope that it all settles down OK, as shoulders are tricky things.

I too have taken an involuntary swim in the RHYC marina, it was some years ago, but I can still clearly remember the shock when I found that the solid ground on which I had placed my foot was not there and being suddenly immersed. Fortunately I only went in as far as my waist as I got both arms on the pontoon and was hauled out very quickly. All the same it happens all too easily, and if alone and perhaps having more than the couple of drinks that I had had the outcome could have been different.

Ouch +3
Nxt time get some PP, remember last time !!!
