Main tufnol blocks.

Need some help here lads and lassies.

I need to find out if Main, a company who made tufnol blocks is still around, or somebody else who makes them.

I know some are made in Holland, (I have some of them) but the Main ones came in different weights, the heavier ones were stronger than these Dutch ones. I liked the Main ones, any help around?? Please.

Don't know about Main but have a look at Toplicht. They have loads of HYE Tufnol Blocks of different styles and weights. If you don't have one of their catalogues, get one! Better than pornography. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Cliff, need one with a fiddle for 12mm and one with a fiddle for 10mm, but the heavier type, any help would be appreciated. Swivel types preferably, but I'd just fiit swivels if not.

They are the dutch type, very good, but! will try and get one of their catalogues anyway, if you've got one, just steal yours put it with your teeth!

I have a feeling that Barton took over Main marine - just a feeling but they don't appear in the Barton catalogue so its probably a dream.

Honnor Marine make their own tufnol blocks for their Drascombes - might be worth asking them....

I thought that Main Marine were owned by the old chap who owned Lewmar for so long .........
