We set off lunchtime on our maiden voyage aboard our trader 41+2, now tucked up in Cowes yacht haven. We enjoyed the trip at 10 knots!! A bit different to our old boat tamarind. It is great having all that space and comfort!

Nice one Clive, hope you enjoy the different boating style from the targa. Nothing wrong with displacement boating, Infact you get to see more, put the kettle on and have a brew! . I bet you don't use anywhere near as much fuel as before .

Nice double walk around bed, shower/ sorry bath and big dining table, the list goes on, enjoy it well done with the new toy.

World of difference from the Targa! We went from a Targa 35 to our Broom 41 and the difference is incredible. Love having an apartment on the water and hugely improved sea keeping. Enjoy!! :) :) :)

It's funny, I never thought that I'd ever enjoy a Trader being known as a old plodder and a bit of an "old mans boat" but I do, it's great!! I look after and skipper all sorts of boats but never a Trader, I've surprised myself! :) I also think that semi displacement is the way forward, great fuel efficiency and comfort, if a bit rolly! I'm going to be revamping my Trader so I will post some photos with work in progress.
