I had a race with a Pershing 90 last week and lost, by a few knots. Now I can win /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

[/ QUOTE ]LOL, "told ya so!" spring to mind... (see my previous post).
I can see a dejà vu race with a P115 at the horizon....
You'd better book a slot on a WallyPower 118 next, just in case! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

the turbine powered 115, it is hull no.2 if I am correct called Mistral 55 which was in Malta for a few weeks in 2006 can top 60 knots
at least that is what the captain told me

any more pics for new Abs 70 Nautical, that dash make SW looks wack,
LOL I think it is to modern for someone like me

Great stuff, Magnum. It's good to see that you are singlehandedly supporting the UK manufacturing sector. I bet your order has doubled total SIBS sales /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I had to look twice before I realised it was Mr & Mrs Magnum at it again!! Another new boat, look forward to seeing it in a few years time. Looks fab.

What's on next years shopping list? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It appears so Al.

Just to set the record straight it's a Pred 84 not a 92. Latter is an extra £1m for same beam and only 5ft11in extra length.

Volume is huge with 6.34m beam. Engines are new 2635HP V16 MTU's (being launched next year) on Arneson drives. SS say should be good for 46 knots which ain't bad for 60+ tonnes. Mini-fly or sportsbridge as SS call it is great but no wind deflecting screen so will be a bit fresh in UK temps.

Just need a bigger berth now but she's not due till May 2010 so have lots of time to consider options. In the meantime we intend to continue enjoying present MAGNUM to the fullest extent /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

me gone for standard shaft tho.

are they offering the stabilisers on the 84?

Congratulations

Tom showed us round the SIBS boat this morning.

The beam makes her massive - even after our quick tour round the current Magnum this new one will provide a huge amount of living space - I'm sure you'll have a whale of time and fun bespoking her.

And the new hi spec MTUs - I understand?

Wow - what fun.
